This is the finished piece done in graphite, using the beautiful photograph by :iconorangetopatos:
as reference. Check out her original...Its a great photo! I think I feel I probably should have pushed this piece a little further, but I wasn't sure since its kind of a serious piece. I still managed to put a little bit of my style into it though:)

very very nice. there is alot of emotion in the photo that was used, and you did it justice, even for a non-serious piece. you conveyed it perfectly.

you can portray the emotion through your pencils.
i can see the same emotion i got from my photo in it.
and thats hard to do, even from the best of artists.
